20 April 2006 -- Dimension Stem Recall (Bicycle Product)
Problem Summary
As a
public service to unicyclists with bikes or self-built handlebar arrangements,
LiveWire would like to make you aware of a recall of certain bike stems made by
Dimension products. Although the recall has been active since last year,
people are still being injured by the flaw. The recall can be seen
here.
Suggested Course of Action
Cease using the product that has the stem installed, and bring it to your Local Bike Shop for service. It might be good to print out the poster and bring a copy of it with you.
