11 May 2008 -- LiveWire Unicycles is on hold indefinitely and not taking orders.  Thanks for your understanding!

5 May 2006 -- LiveWire Unicycles is now an authorized dealer for Syncros, which makes the grippiest pedals available!  They are especially great for snow and mud because of their open design.  See Other Products and Services.

1 May 2006 -- LiveWire Unicycles is now an authorized dealer for Azonic Cycling, Koxx-One (through Renegade), SixSixOne, and more!  See Other Products and Services for more details.

8 November 2005 -- The price of machining a braking surface on LiveWire's fantastic Coker Wheels has dropped! Our new location eliminates some shipping charges.

8 November 2005 -- Surly's Endomorph 26" x 3.7" tires, and their co-designed 26" Presta-valve tubes, are now available from LiveWire.  This exciting option to our Marge-in of AirehTM 26" wheels makes the rim drilling unnecessary and provides some exciting new choices for off-road unicycling.

8 November 2005 -- Although there are still a few boxes to unpack, we're now operating out of the facilities of Wallis Design and Fabrication in San Antonio, Texas.  Scott Wallis and the Texas riding community have gone overboard in making us welcome.  We're already seeing some nice effects of the new move, including improvements in existing customer projects!

4 October 2005 -- LiveWire Unicycles is changing location!  We will soon be operating out of the facilities of Wallis Design and Fabrication in San Antonio, Texas.  Scott Wallis is well-known in the unicycling world for his fantastic carbon fiber saddles, brake lever mounts and handles. The use of facilities that are more industrial in nature, combined with insightful consultation from Wallis Design, should enable LiveWire to take the next step forward as the world's leading custom unicycle and unicycle wheel company.  LiveWire expects to maintain its reputation for the toughest professionally-built products, while both improving customer response time and broadening our array of cutting-edge unicycle components.  Both companies hope to see gains in efficiency, cost savings to the customer, and a greater variety of new products. As a small example, since Wallis Design has been handling LiveWire's Airfoil rim machining, we will have substantial savings in shipping costs for just that one operation.   Expect to see great things soon!

5 September 2005 -- Our website now features the Powerline24TM and Powerline26TM MUni wheels.  These fantastically strong wheels have been proven all over the USA and Canada by riders such as Joey Cohn and Ben Plotkin-Swing, and form the premier foundation for a professional-quality mountain unicycle.

5 September 2005 -- The prices on our wheels have risen slightly to reflect a better estimate of the time required to build each one to LiveWire's highest-of-high standards.

8 August 2005 -- LiveWire's ground-breaking Coker Wheels are now built using Surly's Large Marge rim strips.  These rim strips are formed from very strong, yet very thin, woven plastic material that has a super-strong adhesive backing.  LiveWire trims the width to match the Airfoil rim internal floor exactly, including the center channel.  The result is a setup that eliminates many of the rim strip complications of the past, such as the edge of the rim strip catching on the tire, or the thickness of the strip interfering with tire installation, while maintaining and maximizing the depth of the internal channel.   The cost of the wheels has risen about $6 to cover the new parts and labor, lots of additional value for a minimal increase! The rim strip itself can be seen installed on one of our Marge'in of AirehTM wheels here.

8 August 2005 -- Our Marge-in of AirehTM page now shows some cool photos of this amazing wheel.  And... there are... stickers!

31 July 2005 -- LiveWire's popular QuickLight 700cTM wheel is now featured on the LiveWire website.  These light, responsive wheels serve a huge variety of unicycling applications.  See our QuickLight 700c(TM) Wheels Page for more information.

31 July 2005 -- A new Tech Article "What's in a Dave Stockton Wheel Build?" has been added to Technical Articles.  Check out all the details and care that go into your wheels.

27 July 2005 -- A new Tech Article "Installing a 29er tube in the LiveWire 36 inch Wheel" has been added to Technical Articles.  Consider hopping-up your Coker ride with a tube that is 318 grams lighter!

27 July 2005 -- The Reference Section has another fine addition, an advanced primer by Leonard Zinn. Not for newbies, this reference will enhance your bicycling and unicycling experience and give you lots to think about!

27 July 2005 -- The Coker Wheels page now has a photo of the new machined rims built into a 36" wheel built with one of Greg Harper's internally-geared unicycle hubs.  The combination of silver and black is a great look.  The wheel trued within 0.15mm laterally on each side, which is at least a 100% improvement from the non-machined rims.

16 July 2005 -- Marge'in of AirehTM 24" and 26" wheels -- based on Surly's new Large Marge rim -- are now available.  The LiveWire website now has a page dedicated to this exciting new product! See our Marge-in of AirehTM page for more information.
